What's new in version 3.0?

ca. 70 new Romanian teams (including now Frontier Guards, Marina Infanteria, several captured Soviet tanks, a large variety of new Infantry units (e.g. Rosiori, Calarasi, LMG, Recruits, Veterans)

What has been done before:
Why Romanians?
Romania had the biggest contingent of fighting troops of all German Allies on the Eastern front (as well as the biggest share of casualties) and was the only Axis Ally that managed to carry out operations independently (e.g. Odessa). Additionally, Romanian  troops were present in some areas of the South-Eastern front (e.g. Crimea, Kuban) in high percentages of all Axis troops. Romania changed sides in August of 44 , which is due to game limitations not possible to simulate. Romania's troops were less good equipped and trained and lacked AT-weapons as well as heavy armour. Playing with them against the AI should, as a consequence, be more of a challenge and more enjoyable.

Romanian participation in war crimes
The part of the Soviet Union governed by Romania (Transnistria) was noticeably less an object to exploitation than those under German occupation.
But being an Ally of Nazi Germany, Romanian soldiers (usually under German orders) occasionally participated in deportations of the Jewish population and atrocities against civilians like their German Wehrmacht allies.
