Grab your Enfield, stay close behind your Shermans and storm the hedgerows in this latest adaptation of Close Combat III, The Western Front. Commonwealth Summer (CS) focuses on the British 21st Army Group's fighting in Normandy from D-Day (June 6) until the closing of the Falaise Gap in late August, 1944. CS features British, Canadian and Polish forces in a bitter struggle against the German Panzer divisions of Normandy. Beware, even as the Allies advance, the Germans are rushing new divisions toward the beachheads. Will your troops stand up to the stress of fighting in the Norman bocage? Can you take Caen in time?
