You've heard of the head shot. Well, here's the next generation of humiliation for FPS gamers. Oh, did we mention the game is free?

The First-Person Shooter (FPS) genre has been around for awhile and it didn't take long before developers started programming rewards into their games for certain actions.  Anyone who played Quake Arena quickly learned to hate "Quad Denied" as they just missed the pickup for the quadruple damage spawn.  Harder edged shooters started to grant recognition for "head shots" that elusive one-shot-one-kill score that either confirms exceptional luck or exceptional skill in the game.  Either way, it always felt good to get it.

But what happens when gamers have more options?  Where can they turn for more variety?  Nexon has the answer: the nut shot.  Yup.  Nothing spells "You just got pwnd" like a good shot to the groin.

How does it work?  Simple.  Just like the head shot, the nut shot is rewarded by careful aim or good luck.  Either way it's going to feel pretty good to take down your buddies with it.

So far so good.  A FPS game with a twist.  Sounds alright.  Might check it out.  But wait!  There's more.  Combat Arms is free.  Yes, they make money by selling upgradable goodies and add-ons, but none of those add-ons unbalances the game.  You like the game?  Want to support the developers?  Want to trick out your avatar a bit?  Buy some stuff.  But there's no obligation.  They don't even ask for a Credit Card.

The nut shot is going through its final rounds of testing now and should be released soon.  Check it out at http://combatarms.nexon.net/Intro.aspx
