Tropico 3 is the remake of a classic banana republic city building game where the player tries to maintain a dictator's grip on power while balancing the various needs and wants of his population and the political factions on the island.  Set in the post World War II 1950s or 1960s, the original game was highly popular.  Mixing tropical ambiance with political satire and addicting gameplay, Tropico was an instant classic.

Now, Haemimont Games has stepped up to update this classic with new graphics, expanded gameplay, and the same quirky island satire that made the original so successful.  Due to be released in September, we're starting to get a better look at what to expect, with an interview just recenlty released. 

Today we just got some new screenshots of the game in, and it looks great.  We can't wait to get our hands on a preview.
