Ridgewood, NJ, May 4, 2010 - Kalypso Media today released new screenshots from the upcoming turn-based strategy game Disciples III: Renaissance. In these images, taken directly from the upcoming fantasy title, viewers are treated to some of the stunning visuals powered by the game's new graphics engine. Kalypso Media will release Disciples III: Renaissance in North America in July 2010 on Windows PC. The first two Disciples games were highly addictive turn-based strategy games set in a fantasy setting.  With such great games leading the way, expectations are understandably high surrounding this third release of the venerable franchise.

The developers claim that Disciples III: Renaissance will be a "leap forward in the evolution of the turn-based strategy RPG genre". Building on the successes of the first two games, Disciples III: Renaissance introduces a host of new features as well as the compelling gameplay that made the previous titles so popular.  

Disciples III: Renaissance uses its own proprietary 3D game engine that promises to take the stunning visuals in the previous games to new heights.  Combat is being revamped so that units will be able to move around the battlefield.  Players will be able to select from five different races and the single-player game promises nineteen scenarios.  Keep checking back with us for more information as it develops.
