The wargaming world was dealt a heavy blow on August 3, 2011 when Darren Buckley had passed away at the age of 44. At the time of his passing not a lot was clear but we all know for sure that Darren’s contributions in the wargame community, especially in his work with the Harpoon series was much respected and loved.

Darren’s work on the Harpoon Users Database (HUD3) was well-recognized by all for his effort and attention to detail. His responsibility at Advanced Gaming Systems (AGSI) was an important one in which all players and fan of Harpoon benefited from.

We here at the Wargamer would like to extend our prayers to friends and family of Darren, a man that will be sorely missed by all.
