Matrix Games Is Running a Digital Boardgame Promotion

By Joe Robinson 05 Aug 2016 1

As if the ridiculous discounts and bundles on Bundle Stars wasn't enough, Matrix Games & Slitherine are running a special 'Digital Boardgames' promotion on their own store over the weekend. I guess they want to prove they can party just as hard as the rest of them. And hey, cheap(er) games!

Until Tuesday 9th August, you can buy all of the games on the list below at a 30% discount using the promo code 'DICE16' in the coupon field. Here is the list of games currently eligible for the discount:

Battle of the Bulge

Conflict of Heroes: Awakening the Bear

Conflict of Heroes: Ghost Divisions

Conflict of Heroes: Storms of Steel

Conquest! Medieval Realms

Empires in Arms

Field of Glory

Gary Grigsby’s: World at War A World Divided

Hannibal: Rome and Carthage in the Second Punic War

Heroes of Normandie

Legions of Steel

Magnifico

Mark H. Walker’s Lock ‘n Load: Heroes of Stalingrad

Pike & Shot: Campaigns

QVADRIGA

Tigers on the Hunt

Victory & Glory: Napoleon

World in Flames

World in Flames Map pack

It's worth noting that with Heroes of Normandie specifically, it's currently on Bundle Stars at a 34% discount, which will last until Monday. It's also on sale via the Matrix Store at a $10/£8(ish) discount, which also lasts until Monday but at the moment is still slightly more than Bundle Stars.

However, with this new Promotion, it means that if you purchase Heroes of Normandie via the Matrix Store between now and Monday, you get an additional 30% off the already discounted price – So for around $15/£12 which beats out Bundle Stars' offering. If for some reason you're unable to get to a computer in time, you'll still have a chance on Tuesday to get the game along with everything else at a 30% reduction. After that, everything will be back to the way it was.

Years from now, you will be telling your grand-children tales of this bizarre period in history, and the one question everyone will ask is "Where were you when Slitherine discounted their games that one time?".

This article covers products that are developed and/or published by members of the Slitherine Group of companies. Please see the 'About Us' page for more information.
