Soviet Imperialism Strategies

Saudi-Egypt: Your responsible for killing the USSR presence south of the Suez Canal(Yemen, Southern Ethiopia, etc). After that is secure try to help Iran's Eastern flank and generally built lots of fighters and aircraft place some of them near Yemen. These are left there to pounce on the Soviet fleets when they emerge.

Iran: PROTECT THE CAPITAL! Defensive stance in  the West! If you have a Navy in the Caspian try an amphibious assault against Russia's Western Forces.

Turkey: Be weary of an amphibious assault on  your capitol and after the If you take Greece and Bulgaria you will gain much needed IPCS. Remember to garrison it against the Soviet Event which allows an E. German Armor to attack that province. You must keep the straits open!

USSR: I always use a derivative of the Zulu  battle plan known as the "Battle Horn". In laymen's terms try to divert Turkish and Irani attention towards their flanks (The Balkan regions and W. Persia respectively) Then drive straight for their capitols with Armor pouring out of the Southern Russia territory! Establish Naval supremacy (An easy Task).
Another comment for USSR strategy, an amphibious assault or the threat  of on Ankara can be successful way to capture the Turkish capitol if only briefly. With the Battle Horn Strategy, I'm
Usually one province from the Turkish and Persian Capitols at the end of four turns. If I can keep Saudi-Egypt busy!
