THIS PAGE CONTAINS SOME CHANGED RULES FOR EUROPE AT WAR

The standard game of Europe at War had some minor faults (At least I see it as faults), so me and my friends changed some of the rules, or we made some new once.

INTERCEPTION CHANGES:

ORIGINAL: In the manual you can intercept with you ships, and when those ships are in a harbor area, the area can not be invaded before attacking the fleet, but a fleet in a harbor can only be attacked by Aircrafts.

CHANGES: With ALL the units in harbors you'll have to say in your own turn wether they are in or out the port. (By making a piece of paper with on it Harbor X, so the ships in the harbor will be placed on that paper and the ships outside the harbor will be placed on the gameboard).

Ships INSIDE the harbor can NOT intercept and it costs tranports one movement point to leave the harbor. Ships outside the harbor can intercept but they are NOT protected by the Harbors airdefense and so they can be attacked by other ships. When there are ships inside the harbor you can not invade that area before destroying those ships with aircrafts. When a territory is captured and still has ships in it, some 8dieces has to be thrown, on a 1 the ship is destroyed, on a 2 till 7 the ship escapes to the next seasone, on a 8 the ship belongs to the player who attacked and stays in that same port.

NEW RULES THAT MUST BE THOUGHT OUT YET: (If you have more suggestions, mail me)

-Weather changes for Russia, something like add 1 of 2 points on the russian infantry in the Winter, and add 1 or 2 points at the attacking party in the summer. -In the game tanks have a weaker attack factor that the defend factor, I think both values should be the same.

-In the real world war a lot of neutral countries helped a few Axis or Allied countries, like Danmark, Sweden and Spain helped Germany. It should be fair that under some surcomstances the Allied were allowd to attack such countries.
