In Board Game Geek many comments are raving about the fact that Gatering Storm expansion adds solo play to the base game. But Doesn't the iPad digital version already have solo play against an AI in the base game?

@JASTA07 There are two DLCs out now, both with additional goals: Gathering Storm with 10 optional goals, and Rebel vs Imperium with 5 more goals and an optional takeover system.

Which DLC are you referring to when you say 'random goals'.

Re: Review: DEFCON-2 The Missiles of October

I like the the way this game seems from the review but can you believe that I can't find even one gameplay or review video of this game. Even on the game's website. I'd never buy a game unless I can see a video of it. Please make one.

To me this game looks so similar to Battlefleet Gothic Armada that I almost believe that it is just a reskinned version. But I know it isn't. I'd love to see a comparison done of these two games. Especially listing the areas where they are similar and where they are completely different.

Also, was this review of the version before the latest June 9 patch which makes controlling the lander easier?

Re: Review: The Long Journey Home

Great review. I think you sold a copy. You mentioned that it has good replay value. How so?

Re: Review: Rome: Total War

Playing on a high-powered iPad Pro with its big screen (how many Pocket Tactics readers have them?) is probably a completely different experience than playing on an iPad that may be 1 or 2 generations behind. That's why I think the positive aspects of this review should be taken with a grain of salt.

I forgot to mention that I'll be 68 in two weeks so I have a lot of years behind me to think about what I was doing on any given day. It gets scarier, more depressing, and you feel more vulnerable the older you get.

There is no iOS Hero Generations Regen in the iOS App Store but there is the simple iOS Hero Generations. Is it the same as the PC Hero Generations Regen?
