18 AUG 2006 at 9:09pm Atago Centurion Online I find myself a bit dissapointed in DG. While the graphics are nice, control of the ships is somewhat difficult and keeping track of things is hard - I can't imagine a big battle like Tsushima or Jutland being anything but chaos.
Being a bit of a grognard though, my biggest dissapointment though has to be that the game leaves out any mention of shell types (forgive me if I missed it). The Japanese had both HE and AP, the Russians a reasonably good AP type.
Trying to be objective here, but I find the old game fighting steel with the updates more technically sound and detailed in many ways - except the pretty graphics - and that's not really what I choose a naval game for.
