Another bug, or just a Dragon's conniving nature?
I was playing a nice game of AE today when, to my great joy, I happened to find and convince the owner of a Dragon Roost to join my worthy and noble cause.
Now, the Dragon Roost allows me to get make Dragons, Eviscerators in particular. Once they're in my hand, they have a cost of 0 to deploy. Or so it says on the cards. However, when I deploy them, they clearly cost me 1 AP. Now, either the Dragons are hitting me with the small print of their contract, or there's a little bug here.
This needs to get fixed for a bunch of indie and created cards. The extra cost is coming from the penalty I added for deploying "high" cost cards. The killer cards were boosted up in AP cost to make them more of an investment. I'll have this fixed for 1.07.
Happened to me as well. Had we been playing in the American Wild West, my laptop would have been riddled with bullets. I assume you meant to say that the additional deployment cost penalty applies to certain powerful cards, not cards with a high cost? Because that would just be...well...cruel.
It's going to drive me batty watching every single card I deploy to verify that its actual cost matches the price shown. Is there any way of knowing which cards have this hidden penalty, until such time as it's no longer hidden? Just curious...
