When I run GJS, I get an error message that says: "The application directory is read only. Please change the attributes before running close combat." I only get this message when the GJS plugin is installed (no problems with regular CCV or other plugins.) Does anyone know what the problem is? Im so anxious to play this mod and any help would be really appreciated. I'll get you someday, Tiki!

Cathartes Centurion Posts : 314 Joined: 28 APR 2001 Status : Offline	did you uninstall the plugin when you changed the attributes? we have had successful plugin installs, so might double-check everything, back out the plugin from the folder and then change attributes. If this is not the problem, best wait for Atilla to address this one.

Do what JimmyD did: run GJS with the GJS icon in the CC5 folder, and create a new shortcut to the the GJS.exe. That should work. Ive tried searching for -1 valuses and found none and also tried resaving the existing txt file with C3. The file im using is from CSO as the Close-combat.net location has a corrupted version.
