Epee1 Commander Posts : 1218 Joined: 31 MAY 2005 Status : Offline	I keep typing in different things like "Risen" for example, looking for information, so I don't have to BORE you guys to death with redundant questions, but my searches always come up with zip. Another example, I typed Space Empires, and checked the box for less precise match. I got zip. Someone here has written about Space Empires series of games I would assume. So what am I doing wrong when I search these forums for information. Thanks for the help. Combat Command The Forgotten Gamers

Search phrase Total War, forum General Computer Gaming, within 1 year nothing. Search phrase King Arthur, forum General Computer Gaming, within 1 year nothing. Which is of course total crap.

Then click on the advanced search link to the right of the search box and select a date range. This should give you back a more controlled SERP. Beldar

Maybe its the software, maybe its the boolean logic. It defaults to search "Both" topic and subject. To a computer both means And. What most people want is either which is Or to a computer. Never bothered to test it.
