I keep typing in different things like "Risen" for example, looking for information, so I don't have to BORE you guys to death with redundant questions, but my searches always come up with zip.
Another example, I typed Space Empires, and checked the box for less precise match. I got zip. Someone here has written about Space Empires series of games I would assume.
So what am I doing wrong when I search these forums for information.
Thanks for the help.
I think the search function on the forum is buggered.
Search phrase Total War, forum General Computer Gaming, within 1 year
Search phrase King Arthur, forum General Computer Gaming, within 1 year
Which is of course total crap.

to narrow the searches down add /forum to the end of the www.wargamer.com, like this (search query) site:www.wargamer.com/forum. Then click on the advanced search link to the right of the search box and select a date range. This should give you back a more controlled SERP.
I remember doing searches that worked. I think it stopped when the new design (forum Software?) got put in place.
Maybe its the software, maybe its the boolean logic.
It defaults to search "Both" topic and subject.
To a computer both means And.
What most people want is either which is Or to a computer.
Never bothered to test it.
