It's "Carbonara".
My girlfriend makes an awesome pasta (penne) with small bits of bacon and courgettes/zucchini ( "zucchine" in Italian).
I'll ask her the recipe, trust me it's outrageously delicious.
It's highly addictive and it should be banned...
I absolutely love bacon.

Status : Offline | Several years ago I saw a recipe for the "Bacon Explosion" posted right before the super bowl. I believe you fried about a bound of bacon, crisp, and saved it. You latticed about 2 lbs of bacon on a tray and then added 2 lbs of Italian sausage, placed the crisp bacon on the sausage along with whatever sauce you liked, rolled it and grilled it for about 2 hours.

Status : Offline | When I did eat this stuff, the best I had was boneless chicken thighs stuffed with Italian susage, and wrapped in bacon, with a rich hollandaise sauce if my memory serves correctly. It was to die for.
