I have seen Heros of Stalingrad on the shortlist of upcoming Matrix games for quite awhile...and have not seen any activity in this forum...What is the status on this game.   It looks very promising.  I love the look
the graphics and are are beautiful) and actually like the idea of a faithful table game simulation on the PC...but I hear nothing on this game.

I was told last month that they're still working on scenarios and bugfixes etc.

Considering the Lock 'n Load track record with Matrix Games, I wouldn't hold your breath.  I gave up being excited about a computer Lock 'n Load game a long time ago...

Is it fried?

At least it isn't as bad as 82nd Airbourne over at Shrapnel.  Thats over ten years in the brewing.  I think the worst thing about that is they took pre-orders.

Not "took".  They are taking them as we speak - $54.95 is the pre-order price.  The web page notes reassuringly: "Projected for 2009".
