1. CMSF - Brits - having another go at the bank job, going much better, artillery has destroyed 4 houses containing 5 squads and an RPG, i have lost 2 Warriors and sustained 4 casualties for carnage to the red force and a loss of at least 25% of his troops. Tanks will redeploy and demolish the same set of houses on the other side of the map where i believe the second half of the troops to be hiding.    2. Honing sniper skills on BFBC2 and thinking of toying with engineer class - everytime i pick my sniper rifle up i see a tank and wish for an RPG, i know as soon as im holding an RPG ill see troops on the horizon!    3. MTW2 - CoW - having my doubts about the whole series TBH, siege move on siege move on blah blah, i havent got enough gaming time in the day to play more than 1 epic seige at a time and im not enjoying them as much as i used to - i hardly ever fight a battle out on the plains anymore    4. FM2010 - The mighty Leeds took 108 points and scored 110 goals losing only 3 matches in League 1, 4 games into the Championship season and im top - promotion favourites Blackburn next at their place so who knows how long the unbeaten run will last.    5. WitP:AE PBEM the KB has found its first target outside Perth and demolished a supply convoy, the RN is out here somewhere. Theres at least 2 Aus Divs in Perth now, but having taken Ceylon i can release 3 here, theres 1 in Timor, 1 in Darwin and 2 spare on the east coast of OZ - i will stop at Perth on the west coast if i take it and then take Brisbane on the east. The SoPac is sat tight building forts and theres a small move planned for Christmas Island.    Other stuff - reading up on Lock n Load Heros of Stalingrad - im assured its in BETA and Marks facebook page mentions a Christmas release, Battlefront keep teasing the release of a CM:N forum and new screenshots, and a new website has opened called VideoGame Geek or something - the digital equivalent of Board game geek will be looking around in here too - have a good weekend all    Also feeling the urge to check out Vicky 2 but im a total newcomer to the game - ill read more first, and looking at Blender 3D tools to turn BBC Battlefield Academy into BBC - Blood Angels kick your ass but i dont know how infantry orientated the game is yet - looks ripe for a WH40k mod from a distance

1.) Twisting a fat one.           2.) Eating out at expensive restuarants           3.) Watching, "The Girl Who Played with Fire".           4.) Twisting another fatty           5.) Workin' on my screenplay.           6.) Being paranoid that I was gonna forget what I was gonna do but knowing, full well, that I am damned hungry. Again.

Can you explain what games your playing. I'm out of the loop and clueless on what game CMSF, MTW2, FM2010 and all the others stand for. Thanks Mike

Once I recover from a 10 hour drive listening to music such as 18 Songs like this or   134 songs like this ,  I've got Burn Zombie Burn downloading on the PS3 and I'll be blowing zombies away or something else if the energy strikes me.

Playing HarleyRider in a game of Ageod's Americna Civl War. I'm taking the Yanks and he can play the rebel scum! (see southern secession thread)         Finishing Rise Of Prussia. 1760 and I have'em on the ropes. I have lost large areas of land but have 2 full strength armies for the upcoming spring offensive.         Rise of Flight     Might pick up Vicky2...

MTW2.  We all seem to come back to this one.  Downloading Stainless Steel v6.3           ARMA2 Operation Arrowhead. Is it as good as it looks? Downloading the demo           Red Orchestra. Traditional friday night mayhem on the Eastern Front.

1. Refighting the battle of Mons, from HPS France '14. 2. Either fighting the Battle of Lund from the board game Nothing Gained but Glory, or playing the "Race to the Sea" scenario from Ted Raicer's Clash of Giants II. 3. Will be seeing The Girl who Played with Fire.

I am headed to the coolest gaming convention on the planet. Heat of Battle IV, where the National World War II Museum will be filled with wargamers playing board and minis games (and perhaps a few PC ones, too) for the entire weekend. Later it turns into Night at the Museum, when the museum closes, but the games go on for a couple more hours.  As a result, you can take a break and wander the museum when it's not packed.  It's awesome. The weather is here, wish you were beautiful.  I'll be gaming may @$$ off. Look for pictures and coverage as time allows.

Vicky 2. At V1.1 the course of the game is by 1852 already so deep in alternate history territory that Turtledove would blush in embarrassment. Personally, I don't mind much, unless it's the same course every time. Some things would probably need tweaking, but I'm not someone who overanalyzes things and rather hangs on for the ride. I'm having a good time as Argentina at this point, anyways, but YMMV.

LB, I believe you live in N.O. and I assume that is where the WW2 covention is.           Of the little I know of you, it seems you are a big fan of that era.           It may interest you to know after much and careful deliberation on the subject of Hilter's last days, I decided on a book from James P. O'Donnel titled "The Bunker".           I am only few pages in but I thought you might appreciate the investigative scholarship that went into the book.           http://www.amazon.com/BUNKER-James-P-ODonnell/dp/0395257190

Not much gaming this weekend.  Hanging rafters on the new pole barn and prepping for the flag pole that should be delivered next week.

Matthew 25:14-30.  Jesus tells that it is not sufficient merely to maintain things as they are.  Those who await should make good use of the gifts that God has provided them.

I don't live in NOLA but it's in easy driving distance, if a bit long.  Red Stick, if you must know. I'm not much of a fan of studying up on Hitler.  I pretty much know the plot; the details don't interest me.  However, at your recommendation I'll look it over on Amazon.

1.)  Having finally figured out the sound/music issues I was having, I've returned to playing Distant Worlds with the new update.  Am working on expanding the power & reach of the Kiadan Federation!  2.)  I finally reinstalled MTW/VI and added the XL mod; I've started a campaign as the Bohemians.  My previous campaigns as them have ended in tears, but I'm determined to do better this time.  Will have to be very careful about where & when I expand.  3.)  Birth of the Federation with the Balance of Power mod:  I'm feeling a bit puckish, and so have chosen to be the Klingon Empire.  Let the galaxy tremble before the sons & daughters of Kahless!  4.)  I'm slowly working on my Swedish campaign in Empire Total War.  Russia declared war early on, and am currently locked in a bitter struggle with them for control of the lands around the Baltic.

LB, I think that's actually a 360 game, not an expansion for LOTRO.
