The game is simple and fun. At this time the map size limit is 64x64 and the game has squares not hexes. There are only two height levels.
The focus out of the box is British forces against the Germans and Italians in NA and Normandy, USA vs Germany in Normandy and the Bulge. This gives you enough terrain to create most areas and seasons.
The game is fully mod-able by scripts. Some programming knowledge is needed to be able to figure this out IMO.
You can also add units and models with common computer skills.
