I remember my older brothers setting up Avalon Hill's Dispatcher in the bedroom where it would remain for a couple of days at a time as they worked at finishing a game. When I got older I bought AH's Tactics II and Gettysburg. I played many boardgames and then switched to computer wargaming when I bought an Atari 800XL.
