Fall from Heaven 2... First time I heard of that. Thanks Gus... On it!

Fall from Heaven II is probably the most popular mod that exists for Civilization IV. If you never tried it, you owe it to yourself to experience it.
As for what I'll be playing this weekend, I'm not sure. Probably a little of this and a little of that with a minimal taste of WoW. I just bought Tropico Reloaded from Good Old Games plus I've been playing a bit of Disciples II: Elves and Fantasy Wars. I also bought AI War and its expansions from GamersGate but I haven't even downloaded them yet, so who knows what I will be sampling.

Also some WINSPWW2 PBEM and online Left 4 dead 2 action.

There is a very good chance that I may pick up the Superbug for FSX this weekend too.
Beyond that, I just don't know.

Am enjoying the game loads but can't get much advice from anywhere. I seem to pick games that are technically brilliant but only bought by 3 or 4 close friends.

I believe you would be looking for keunert here on these boards and possibly ComradeP or Tpek. I may be wrong on the last two, and there may be others, but I am pretty sure on keunert. Sorry I can't be more helpful. If there's something specific you want to know, start a new thread in this subforum. Trust me, someone will answer. :-)

Theres a good thread here, with some basics explained

The Matrix forums are a good source of knowledge on the game, and if you post up here or there I'm sure you'll get some feedback. Also a number of articles written with Advanced Tactics in mind apply generally to Blitzkrieg:WtP as well.

Gonna redo the division tutorial now, this time i wont click half the brigade commanders to attack stance while planning to defend the fence/stonewall line....

Status : Offline | Heh, small update, my gaming laptop decided enough was enough last night and died. So, in a flurry, I went out and got a desktop. Bonus is that I already had a 512MB Nvidia 8600GT in my old desktop so I don't need a new graphics card and the new puter is gonna turn out to be a MUCH better gaming rig. I guess this weekend will be all re-installing my stuff, but with a smile

Sorry to sound like a noob but I get the Battle of Britain part but what does WoV stand for? This sounds like my kind of game.
My plans for the weekend:
COD: Black Ops (need to work on my aiming skills, I'm so bad at this but I'm having fun. Would be funner if I could kill more than I die though.)
Civ3: Conquests (continue refining my WW2 scenario that I plan to update for the Civ community)
Valkyria Chronicles 2 (almost finished with game. I'm on what I think is the last mission!)

Going to see the missus so wont be back till Sunday...then more BoB WoV and maybe some Dead Space... @Wolverine...whats the micromanagement like in The Guild? I hear there is alot which puts me off... You ever play Distanct Worlds Wodin? You can turn much of it over to the ai if you don't like much micromanagement and believe you me I don't. I play pretty much the political, exterminating, gambling portion of the game. I let the ai play most of the business stuff unless I have some open spare time between what I usually do. The game would practically play itself if you let it. Only thing you'd really have to do is replace your dead characters with new ones and make sure you had children being produced. Almost like The Sims.
never played DW but The Guild sounds even more promising...

It's still cookin though and nothing to complain about in the graphics dept with the 5770 HD ATI RAEDON card. Thank the g's I can play MTW with it unlike the Nvidia graphics cards.
