Have been really into WitP the past few days, and it's early 1944 and I am really starting to gain steam in the campaign. Tarawa is mine after three total attempts, and all but Buka in the Solomons in mine, Rabaul is no longer operable as a base, and both Truk and Wewak have had the US CVTF treatment, along with LBA pounding Wewak like no ones business. FS2004 is also on the menu. I will be turning 28 on Sunday so I may actually go out for once, but where is the fun in that???

So many different tactics to try out. Nothing like the old end around flank attack to heat up the action! I'll be spending most of the weekend staining my deck. We're right in the middle of about two weeks of glorious, early fall Minnesota weather. I'll be lucky if I get to fly a sortie in Rise of Flight, or a few games of World of Tanks. For a few seconds I wondered what sort of marathon naughty action you were engaged in with "spending most of the weekend staining my deck'. I had a few enjoyable hours this weekend with flight simming and the new Battle Academy add-on Market Garden.

The biggest problem with Vanilla is that the AI disbands troop transports after one turn so AI empires almost never manage to land troops. I may try the Master Mod.
