But browsing the forum with all its slowness is a painful experience. So much so that I only view one of the subforums now, and it only once per day.

Sorry about not responding earlier -- just noticed your post.
The image hasn't changed size at all over the years, and it's not very big.
What's odd is that I can see something stuck in there that sort of looks like the image file, but I can't get rid of it and I can't make it stick to my posts.
I think I'm using IE8, and the image was almost certainly uploaded under an earlier incarnation of IE.
It is possible (though unlikely) that the version of the image that I'm trying to upload is different from the one that was actually used. It's been so long who can remember.
If we could get the old image removed I could start over. What I'm trying to upload is a relatively small jpeg (3.12 Kb and 80x80 pixels).

Seconded. This function has been broken for months now.

I don't have any problems with the forums but I am unable to download anything from the Games Depot. Furthermore, nobody seems to know anything about it. Is the problem at your end or mine?
Best wishes,
Steve

Status : Offline | When I have a tab open for The Wargamer, and I click on one of my shortcuts on Internet Explorer to go to another website, the tab shows the website I'm going to in the title part, but the IE tab itself just sits at The Wargamer.
This seems to only happen the first tab I open for The Wargamer...subsequent pages seem to allow me to go to other sites.
I'm glad running this place and these forums are your pleasure and not mine!

Status : Offline | Theres an issue when posting Images using the [IMG] tag.
It seems like the images only display, after the post is edited a second time.
Putting img tags in the original post, displays them as img tags. If you wait the required time limit and then edit the post, the images are then translated and displayed - so when you submit the post after this edit, the images show up correctly.

+1 on this issue
I get this too, and thought I'd mention it to show that it's not an isolated issue. It does make finding the new posts a slower and more time consuming experience.
But apart from that I'm quite happy with the new look.
Wondering if there is an update on this?
