Status : Offline | DOW 1 I liked very much. It was more old school RTS with base building while the holding of tactical points was a new concept at the time.
DOW 2 is a great game as well, but basebuilding has been abandoned.
I prefer 1 and you should get tremendous amounts of fun from the title, gameleaper! Good choice!

Status : Offline | Oh I'm soooooooooo glad rts games are doing away with base building. It was the main reason I hated them in the first place. Just too much tedious work when one is just wanting to have fun and relax. So, I will always be a fan of #2 and prefer that over #1 forever.

I wasn't sure I'd like DOWII, I'm too slow for RTS - but it has been fun (though I don't have Retribution).
