I never really paid attention to the game when it came out. Today I saw it on sale and decided to try the demo (also available on Steam). It is actually a pretty good tower defense game. Worth trying the demo to see if you like it. You place your satellites (towers) orbiting a planet. You can them rotate the orbit to move the tower's position.

It's also very difficult.

How much of it did you play? I only did the demo, which has the first 4 of the campaign scenarios and didn't think it was bad on the default difficulty level. I imagine it gets much harder since I think it has 30+ scenarios. I think I got to round 18 in the arcade mode. The movies / cutscenes were quite fitting and well done.

I got stuck on like level 5 or 6 (right after the demo ends).

So far it isn't too bad after 10 scenarios. I did lose a couple on my first try, but with a second try I have been able to win. I haven't been getting all of the medals like I did in the beginning but I still got all 5 medals in some. This towers defense game gets a little more hectic then I think I like. Defense Grid is the one I spent the most time with (and really like it), and in that one the towers never get destroyed like they can here.

Maybe you just didn't spend enough time with it to learn what strategies work. I have definitely had to take a hands on approach to rotating my satilittes to get the most out of them.

I finished it playing on the "Little Girl with her Daddy Holding Her Hand" level of difficulty and it is entertaining. I'm going to give it another shot and might just maybe ramp up the difficulty a teeny bit. Maybe.

Well, it turns out the Gorg are stoppable and I had a fun time doing it. I made a mistake in an above post. There are 21 scenarios in the campaign and 30 achievements. The campaign lasted 12-15 hours.

Word of warning, challenge 5.1 was, well ..., challenging.

Woot! I broke into the top 200 Unstoppable Gorg players and made the leaderboard. There are probably 201 Unstoppable Gorg players so it is a big deal. :-)
