Nothing to exciting in that list for me sadly.

I forgot the hadn't remade the CC bulge game. So thats a dissapointment as I thought it maybe a new game altogether.

Slightly interested to see Soveriegnty, Pandora and Legends.

All the rest are your usual expansion sets so nothing new there. Then we have mobile\tablet versions, again not for me.

Oh well.

I'm always up for a good 4X game, so Pandora looks interesting.  The rest.......meh.

Panzer Corps-Afrika looks good- I really like this series and it just continues to get better with every new release.

Panthers in the Fog is not about the Bulge (that was Wacht am Rhein) and it is not a re-do of a previous CC game, though it is the last one on the current engine.

Is it just me? I don't get that^

So it's not the Bulge? And it's not a re-do of a previous CC game - but it IS the last one on the current engine?

Is the "current engine" not the original engine?

Could you clarify Erik exactly what this is? What theatre?

WOW! Looks like an interesting lineup. Can't wait to see what the new Close Combat brings to the franchise. And I'm very, very excited to see the Field of Glory and Panzer Corps titles coming to ios but more importantly the mobile gaming community.

It's about time they did Afrika Korps. I'll probably buy it now.

Well it needs to be explained alittle better. The wording makes it sound like it's a redo of the last CC game.

Better to have just said a new CC game using the CC engine.

I am all played out of CC I am afraid. I have no interest what so ever in playing another close combat game.

It is really as simple as the game not changing at all really in 20yrs or so, apart from a few tiny elements.

I was excited when I thought it was a new engine. I am really dissappointed with the games Slitherine has done lately.

Good games I'm sure, just not my taste.

Nothing thrills me either, but maybe with more details later something might stand out.

Commander:The Great War and PC: Afrika Corp are absolute buys for me. Pandora and Sovereignty are certainly going to be on my radar, both seem to be my kind of games. I haven't seen a decent 4x strategy game yet that I could resist buying.

I think you'll be happy to know that there is a reason we worded it as "Last CC game using the current engine." Day Two starts roughly 15 hours here in Italy.

If this is meant to imply that a new engine is on its way, should have just put the resources and energy into the new engine versus the "last version" of the existing engine

No one interested in Decisive Campaigns: Case Blue?  I really enjoyed the first game and am anxious to hear more about this one.

One of the guys behind Pandora will be speaking tomorrow (or later today, I'm on Italy time) about the game. Should be good

FOG tablet seems to be a great idea.  I'm enjoying Battle Academy in the iPad more than the PC version for some reason despite being the exact same game.

I'm actually more excited with the stuff that GMT games will release for the PC and Tablets.

Particularly Twilight Struggle and Fields of Fire.

Didn't know Fields of Fire had a developer. Damn them tablets and mobiles. I just don't have the funds to buy more tech.

Just annouced in the April newsletter.

New Projects:

Commands & Colors Series: Most of you probably already know by now of our new strategic partnership with Playdek to create electronic games for our two Commands & Colors series games for iOS and other platforms. For you who haven't heard, a copy of the press release is here. This is going to be a very cool partnership. The folks at Playdek are really impressive. I hope we work with them on many projects for a long time. But for now, we'll focus on getting the C&C games ready to go by year-end.

Fields of Fire:
In Fields of Fire, Ben Hull has created a game system that fascinates me with it's endless replayability and tense game play. So I am THRILLED to be able to announce that we have an agreement to do both an iOS and a PC version (no Android in the works at this point, but possible down the road) of Fields of Fireand that work has begun on the project. Imagine playing

Fields of Fire

when an iPad handles all the bookkeeping and rules lookups for you! This one is going to be fun!

Fields of Fire has so much bookkeeping it really needs to be computerized.

Over on another website, these extras were mentioned:

Don't forget these others as well, we had some wifi trouble trying to get news and posts up, so some things came out late:

* Conflict of heroes release is imminent
* World in Flames conversion of board game coming soon
* Lock and Load Heroes of Stalingrad board game conversion coming Q3

A couple of other things coming we didn't have time to cover
* Frank Hunters new game Piercing Fortress Europa coming some time before end of Q3
* Complete Carriers at War coming 2012, date TBD

I have several LnL titles and enjoy them.  But I'll believe LnL Stalingrad is out when I see it.
