Iron Front - Liberation 1944 will focus entirely on the realistic and extensive campaign based on historical events of the Soviet Offensive in 1944, with authentic replications of weaponry, vehicles, and warplanes. Based on the engine of ArmA II: Operation Arrohead by Bohemia Interactive, Iron Front - Liberation 1944 will command his troops and tanks under his command and control in tactical situations from a first-person perspective. Players will have to use all assets available to them for victory, from the Panzerkampfagen VI to the Stalin JS-2 tank, to the FW-190 ground attack fighter to the Petlyakov PE-2.
Players will also be able to take the fight online against other players and the troops under the command in competitive or cooperative missions in multiplayer. Modes such as Capture the Flag or Attack and Defense will provide additional fun, along with an ample mission editor to allow users to create their own tactical situations for themselves and others.
Iron Front - Liberation 1944 is aiming for a release in May of 2012 exclusively on the PC. For more information, visit the official website here.
