Weekend roundup.... Going to continue to either learn or confuse myself with Aurora.  Will continue my DF game and die quickly again with DungeonCrawl.  Also, will break open Warlock MoA have not played as of yet...... and Orion - Dino Beatdown for mindless fun... who knows though may check in on my Paradox campaigns as well.  robc04 now has me wanting to get Conflict of Heroes :- ) ...... maybe I should spend my money on some ADD drugs :- P

No friday thread last week, I thought it had died.

Anyway I will play Warlock, CK2, Sniper Elite V2 (though I'm stuck shooting those troops after the firing squad) and most likely dip into SF2NA.

Steam and Iron, Conflict of Heroes all the way...

BTW, I think Steam and Iron, at 24mb, is officially the most fun per mb of all time...

I love Flight Sims, Wargames, and anything Naval.

Most definately some Star Trek Online. My new crack!  Got a good CMBNCW PBEM going and also play testing a campaign so all that should keep me rather busy. May also throw in some NWAC for good measure.

I just jumped on the bandwagon this week got the bug for fantasy strat - the FE version is .913

I only BSOD once - I'm about 2/3 into a med map game and getting my butt handed to me on easy with only 2 AI's.

I never played Elemental cause it won't ever really get fixed (FE is the fix).   I am not that good at Civ games but I'm trying - I like the depth and options just not sure about the dynamics of it yet.  I really can't get how to group units well or it isn't implemented quite yet.

It does have stacks - they are evaluated by weak, medium, and strong showing icons of the special unit abilities of each unit but doesn't show what they mean for the enemy so you have to know what they are on yours.

The battles are pretty good and the enemy AI does attack your cites but not the randoms.  The enemy sent a pretty high lvl stack toward my cap and I managed to kill it by sending several weaker stacks against it.  Didn't read the manual so it is trial & error on what I'm doing.  I have reloaded when making major mistakes.  The battles are tactical if you want which is better then Civ games.

I have won by the skin of my teeth on many which was way cool.  I think if they continue of this track this will be a very good game which I have been waiting for.

I haven't even played warlock at all which is finished by not as deep as this.

There are only 2 maps small and medium - when starting the medium the game wanted to play with 6-7 AI players I wasn't going for that.

As I'm writing this I'm thinking of new ways to do what I didn't in the game I'm playing now.

For me this is so far a winner - I tried to play elemental and never got this far.

@DCosta - I would have to go out on a limb and say yes! The game play is fun, standard MMO to a point. You have a bridge crew with their own abilites so you can start out as a damage dealer, and be a part time healer if you equip the right ship and right crew. Your away teams can be outfitted to perform a wide variety of tasks. I really enjoy it, and I am not an MMO fan at all. This on, this one has got me however, and I like the feeling!

Sound slike it could be a winner when released, as recently testers opinions seem way more positive. Thanks. Oh I have a fantasy bug myself recently and found Dominions 3 a superb game.

@Stryker sounds like fun. I tried the Secret World beta and I'd never played an MMO before and really didn't like the combat so quickly unistalled, 16 hours downloading for 20 mins play.
