Hello all,

It's Friiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiday.

What's everyone playing today? I finally got my laptop updated and running, so now I can enjoy quick rounds of Panzer Corps without tying up my main work computer.

Kingdoms of Amalur Reckoning. I've put about 50 hours into it and I probably have another 150 hours to go to complete it.

Fun stuff.

Ammended:

I suppose I should enjoy this game to the max since it may be the only one they make:

I'm very slowly downloading Batman: Arkham City

I'm enjoying more and more practice at Conflict of Heroes and have also played my first two MP games so far this weekend. Won the first and lost the second, both against the same opponent on the 'The Gap' map.

I'm tempted to pick up Warlock because I'm sure I'd like it and it is being actively discussed, but I figure I can also hold off easy enough until it is patched, expanded and discounted.

I'm also reading the excellent Day Z diaries over at Rock, Paper, Shotgun. Every one moves me a hex closer to buying Arma Combined Operations so I can play the mod. Last time I bought a game to play a mod was Medieval Total War II (for the second time) in order to play Third Age (Lord of the Rings mod)

Well, played some OOTP13 today and will play some more later.

I'm about to get Hornet Leader out and start a new campaign - maybe do that AAR I've been saying I'd do

Tomorrow, definitely some iRacing and BF3 now I'm back online and later some DCS Black Shark2 I reckon...I need to get back in the cockpit.

That's all after a 20-30 mile bike ride (training for my Coast 2 Coast bike ride) which I'll probably do about 6 in the morning (I'm always awake then anyway - so I figure I might as well get out and do something).

Panzer Campaigns: Smolensk '41. I've really been gaga for this game lately after not playing in about a year.

my weekend kicked off on Friday with a fun round of ASL scenario Commando Schenke. A historical outcome with German navy seals (Naval Assault

etachment 530) failing to breach the fortified Latvian town of Liepaja (defended by Red Army).

coming up shortly, a trip to the hanger for a quick Blackshark sortie or two.

That is my favorite time to train, whether it be run, bike, lift weights or anything else. Testosterone is high, streets are quiet and there is nothing than can happen at work to deny me my training time (e.g. urgent work, semi-mandatory social, face time). It also feels good to achieve something so early in the day, it prepares me well to play games and achieve nothing else for the remainder!!

I've playing a bit of Conflict of Heroes for my wargamer.com review.  Also Warlock: Master of the Arcane.

Since the semester has ended I have a bit more time for gaming.
