As we all know modifications are a huge part of the gaming industry. In fact, they can somtimes be the sole reason a particular game gets praise in the first place.
I'll start this off:
I'd like to see a World War I mod for War in the East . An in-depth look at World War I, even deeper than the WWI custom scenarios offered for Operational Art of War . All fronts, including naval warfare. Take it down to the regimental command structure and include technologies, diplomacy, and economics.

That would be really cool.
I also like Swatter's idea of a modern HOI3 (or Cold War one).
