Just noticed Iron Front Liberation 1944 being announced on the game sites.

Anyone know if it is tactical or RTS and how good. I really enjoy good WWII RTS.

Cheers all.

Wait on it for now.  It's still got a lot of issues with scripting, CTDs, and performance.

It's an intersting and immersive game, for the 45 seconds or so I can get into a campaign mission before I CTD.

With a lot more development time and a bunch of community support with user made missions and campaigns, it could be a winner. As of now, it's hardly functional for me.

It's an ARMA II mod so it's tactical FPS.

Jomni is this a standalone based on ARMAII engine or does it need ARMAII to run?

ARMAII is a great FPS but involved control interface. Do you agree?

I'm not entirely sure but I suspect it is standalone.  I should have not called it a Mod.

It's a stand alone game.

I've played it for about two hours, and had only one crash.

So save early, save often.

I've played it for more than 10 hours.  No problems.  I play in the editor only and with the

graphics turned way down (no post processing, minimal shadows etc.)
