Nearly 10:00 am EDT and no thread so I thought I would start it....my first time!

I finished D3 on normal so possibly starting up Nightmare mode and I may end up getting Conflict of Heroes if I can be talked into it.

So what are you guys doing this weekend?

Yes they did!

Tring to get back into SOTS 2 but it's still so buggy I may have to put it down again.  Might do just some light gaming this weekend with Toy Soldiers or Ticket to Ride.

I'm a beta tester for CoH WYBaugh if you have any questions.  I'd certainly recommend it though I realize it's not for everyone.

Today I'm going back a bit and try to make some progress in my Third Age Total War campaigns mod for MTW. You don't want to keep angry dwarves waiting too long.

I just got back into "Rise of Flight" after 2 years. Wow, it is a great game. Much improved from when I first tried it.

Diablo 3, up to level 48 now, for my Barbarian.

Been shooting looks at Crusader Kings 2 again..may be time to finish conquering the British Isles.

Even Space Rangers 2 has caught my eye. I have played this for many hours, and it's been awhile.

Short versions:

Sins Rebellion: not worth $40 (or even $30 with the pre-order pre-own discount) if you own any other Sins game.

Gemini Wars: some neat gameplay ideas culled from 4X games, a bit too streamlined.

Strategic War in Europe: too much like Time of Fury, but I actually prefer the larger scale in SWiE (less units to worry about = less tedium).

I have delved back into the world of Skyrim (apparently 110 hours isn't enough) and I may try the Game of Thrones mod for Crusader Kings 2.

Started played Baldurs Gate.  I played it when it first came out. I'm not sure I will stick with it or not. It's a little clunkier than I remember. I may play a little Ticket To Ride.

Week off yay.I will finally play and finish the Witcher2 now the enhanced edition is out.SOTS1 because I think SOTS2 is 4-6 weeks away from the all clear.

I think SOTS2 will be the best hardcore 4X game ever by the time the 1st expansion pack is out is my prediction.

The Origins Game Convention is going on now, and I've been there everyday for the past three days.  Man, I'm not as young as I used to be.

But apart from daily sojourns to the con, and their associated recovery times, I plan on getting in some...

Warlock: Master of the Arcane

Conflict of Heroes

World of Tanks

... where possible.

Starting the Witcher 2 this weekend. Spent most of the day just updating it to EE version. What an ordeal!

I'm working my way through D3 Nightmare with my wizard.  This has taken up most of my gaming time lately.  I hope to get back to learning Conflict of Heroes soon.  But right now I'm still addicted to D3.

You know, I am just sitting on the edge of my seat, hitting F5 repeatedly on the Out of Eight website waiting on this.  I'm desperately trying to decide between this game and two other agricultural simulators that have come out recently.

But while I'm waiting, impatiently, for your review, I'll be logging some time into Rise of Flight, DCS:A-10, and Red Orchestra 2.

Anyone else notice how few actual wargames get mentioned when we list what we're playing?

When I'm not playing cricket (in the actual outside world) the weekend I'll be:

Trying to get Iron Front to work

Roffing and IL2 with squad mates

Maybe some Darkest Hour and RO2

I'm not sure if you're being sarcastic or not, but in case you are not, I did take some video of the game:

http://www.youtube.com/user/jaguarusf

and my full review is going up the 7th.

This one always makes me cry....why didn't the developer continue making new versions of this game for us

Was my favorite text sim at one time and with some enhancements and evolution, this could have continued to be a great franchise like OOTP is for baseball.  I am still holding out hope that behind the scenes the developer is creating a new version, but he keeps things pretty quiet.

It still is a good game, just disappointed that it really didn't become a game that continued to grow with the times...
