A coworker of mine was asking for recommendations on WW2 books to read on vacation.  I remember reading a trilogy of oral history books from the American perspective about 10-12 years ago.  They were paperbacks, one had a red cover, one a blue cover, and one a green cover.  I looked for a while on Amazon today, as well as googling it, but couldn't remember the titles or the author.  If anyone has any idea who wrote them and what the title was, I would appreciate it.

Check out "The greatest War" by Gerald Astor.  Good read, good author, compelling stories.
