Since I'm now starting to do witty commentary with my game videos, I've decided to go back and re-do (or do for the first time, if I reviewed it before CK2, which is when I started doing video) a video with commentary. Why don't you go and vote which one you'd like to see/listen to? There are a couple of wargames on it.

And sorry about the cryptic thread title. I put in "Poll" and forgot to finish it when I submitted it and now I can't change the title.

I voted for Conquest of Elysium 3, Gemini Wars and Strategic War in Europe. Mostly I would like to see Conquest of Elysium 3. 

Also, I listened to your Endless Space video and thought you did a good job. Glad to see you are interested in doing more.

I just got a headset with a mic on it.

I've been against commentary because when other people do it in gameplay videos I usually find it annoying.

Imho a video of someome playing a game without commentary is very dull and next to worthless except for a quick glance at the gameplay.

This is the part where you earnestly run a survey and I start to squeal that

I, repeat, "I" want a commentary on a game that did not get any votes because

it is my favourite and your effort to do something for us gratis is really all

about me.  Plus I am not interested in the one that everbody else wants because

I am special and too cheap to buy it anyway.  Thanks for my rant because it is

all about me after all.

OMG what a deep will of bitterness I have discovered!  Time to contemplate it.

I would only find them annoying if they did not mention me.

I figured out my problem: I have my volume set at 100% and adjust it on my headphones directly. If I lower the master volume, the microphone also gets lowered so it solves nothing. What I have to do is adjust the volume inside the game down to about 25% so it's not so loud. I didn't notice when I was recording how loud it was because I had turned down the volume on just the headphones and not in Windows, so it captured everything at max volume.

The issue has hopefully been fixed in the video I am uploading right now (which will take about 6 more hours...big file!).

Or the turning it down thing.  Sounds likes it's muscling out the actual game sounds.
