I am an avid ArmA player and I have many, many videos that I think those here would enjoy. I am a member of a USMC Realism unit in the game ArmA 2 and we do trainings and operations several times a month. The unit I'm in is actually having it's 5th anniversary this week.
I have an issue though, I'd like to share the videos here, but there is much foul language in them(it's a realism unit afterall) and that's the no.1 forum rule that I read, and I obviously don't want to break a forum rule with my first post.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to a way to share my videos with you guys without breaking any forum rules? Maybe put foul language tags on them or something else?
For those interested, my youtube channel is my username here, Jester814.
edit: Since I've gotten permission, I'll start it off with a bang. This video has one of the most instantly intense opening firefights I've ever gotten on video in ArmA(Foul Language Warning):

Welcome to the forums Jester...thanks for asking before posting. That is very considerate of you.
Please feel free to post your videos, but note in the topic that they have bad language and may not be appropriate for viewing at work or at home with the family!
That should be good enough...then each member can decide whether they want to watch or not.
Again, thanks for asking beforehand.

This Operation is the seventh of US Offensive Combat Operations in the country of Lingor. The 15th MEU(SOC) has been tasked to the region as part of a show of force. With the current government not willing to step down, the President has issued orders to begin military operations and forcefully remove the current government of Lingor. The Lingor Army's stronghold at Calamar has been taken, and a major blow to the Lingor's Air Force has occurred. The 15th will now turn it's sights towards the rest of Lingor. The river crossings, and the key terrain immediately to the north of the Calamar airfield is secure, as well as the Southern section of the Northern Central peninsula, including the Fernando Area and San Isabel Area.
The mission for Operation Black Brass 07-12 is to secure the Northern half of the Northern peninsula in Lingor, including all jungle territory, all of the coastline, and the prison.
As our beloved Platoon Commander, Captain Steel, has accepted a slot in force recon, I am left to act as the Plt Co for Gambler 1, which is the largest force in the 15th MEU. I have roughly 40 Infantrymen under my command.
At this level, even though I do still get to occasionally shoot, the game turns into more of a strategy game than a shooter. Even though we do the largest strategy aspect of the missions, the planning, in 1-3 different planning meetings before the actual operation, there are still a lot of command decisions that have to be made at the tactical level once the mission starts(Murphy's Law). You see a good example of this as soon as we get on to the airfield, where we were not expecting enemy contacts at all(considering we cleared it last mission).

Outstanding videos, Jester. This proves what a great traing tool ARMA II can be for the military.
Out of curiosity, were the enemy also human controlled or AI? And were the missions designed in house?
They're all AI, we very seldom fight vs other people. That said, we have had other people as OpFor before, and OpFor commanders(meaning they directly control the AI).

I am a great fan of Arma 11: Operation Arrowhead.
What software do you use to record these videos?
Fraps for in-game video and audio, and I recently started using Audacity to record my microphone(last week). It's very easy to synch up and lets me cut out audio for "real life" conversations I may have in the middle of recording.

Great videos. I look forward to the next installment.
New video - This time you get to see what it looks like from the bottom, as an automatic rifleman taking orders.
On 07 July 2012, Lingor Army forces re-take the city of Drassen and surrounding hamlets for a second time during Operation Black Brass 2012. This time Gambler 2 is dispatched to reclaim the city. I am acting as an Automatic Rifleman for Gambler 2-1-B under Cpl Leber for this mission. I am also carrying one of the "coolest" toys in the 15th MEU Arsenal.:
First thing first - I am now 2ndLt Drumheller. Platoon Commander of Gambler 2 in the 15th MEU Realism Unit. My callsign is now "Gambler 2".
This is the 8th operation on the Island of Lingor for the 15th MEU(SOC). The 15th has received intel that the lingorian army is staging a full scale counterattack from the Northeast section of the island. Gambler 2s mission is to move to the San Arulco river crossing and re-secure it, then cross the river, assault and secure "Checkpoint Oeste", and utilize the checkpoint as a blocking position against the counterattack.

I have a new video that suits my avatar here very well.
In this mission, I am a sniper in Able Company, 1st/501st. Our mission is to drop in behind enemy lines and destroy 3 AA emplacements, then take the nearby town.
For this WWII mission, we are using the I44 mod: http://www.invasion-1944.com/
Language warning, as usual.

If you're talking about my WWII video from today, I wasn't command.
If you're talking about my ArmA 2 videos, we just don't have the manpower. We can only operate with the people we have.

I don't play nazis, and I don't like playing Russia, so I have no interest in Iron Front.
If they were to add US/British forces I'd take a harder look at it, but at the same time, why pay for Iron Front when I44 is free?
Arma...and you shouldnt expose yourself so much. You are a CC element. You should have one person with you at all times providing security when you are poking your head around doing target acquisition. Clearly you all do have the manpower from what I saw if you were commander of a platoon element.
As a aside I was very impressed with your co players. And you of course. Bravo.

Interesting that you would say that considering the debates that go on in this forum
But I guess when I was younger I also could not see other perspectives or stand to play "the enemy".
These days playing the bad guy is often a lot of fun purely from a gaming and military perspective.
It's just not my bag. While I love WWII weaponry of all kinds, I just can't bring myself to play the "bad guys". And while I could play Russians, I don't like it enough to pay the money for Iron Front to do so.
Hell I refuse to even play terrorists in Counter-Strike. I've gotten along fine so far, so I think I'll be able to live the rest of my life without having to break it as a general rule for myself. Or who knows, maybe some day I'll change my mind about it. In the end, it's less about being the bad guy, and more of an absolute refusal to shoot Americans, and a great dislike of shooting any "good guys" in general.

This was Gambler 2 Platoon Training for 12 August 2012. We had an "official" training mission made, but it was broken, so we fell back on an insurgency session. Be advised, I have included almost the full initial brief, squad brief, and platoon debrief/AAR in the video because I know some people like to see that sort of thing. They add about 5 minutes to the beginning of the video and 8 at the end.
For those of you unfamiliar with insurgency, you'll see me bring my map up several times during the mission. The red squares mean that there are potential insurgents in the buildings in that area. In order to turn a grid square from red to green, you have to search and kill all insurgents in that grid. Insurgency is an outstanding game mode for MOUT and CQB training.
