Will Out of Eight do a review?

It would maneuver a lot, flank, fall back -- but seldom actually attack you, beyond arty shelling. Even on the setting where you give the AI the most time (i.e. 'hardest' AI).
There are almost no other games out there that put me in the "first day buy" camp, but this one. Absolutely superb game.

Have those two things been improved upon in the new game? Are there smaller, bite-sized scenarios that newbies can use to get used to the game?

there are several linked small scenario's, small campaigns and two big campaign scenario's.
and there is also a tutorial and a helpful community on the forum.
I can stand brute force, but brute reason is quite unbearable. There is something unfair about its use. It is hitting below the intellect. Oscar Wilde

Hi Canuck,
A resounding yes to all of those along with many other improvements.

Nope. Waiting for your review!
I have been keeping my wallet in my pocket for a while now, but this looks rather good. My big concern on it is whether scenarios are too big, with too much moving hundreds of units. Just a personal thing (as I am a lightweight) as some I guess love the monster route. Anyway, looking forward to hearing your thoughts.

They are There are two smaller scenarios but no medium-sized ones where you get a couple of armies in one corner of the map. Maybe people will solve that problem with the editor.
I took a video of the game which is encoding right now and I'll upload it tomorrow morning and link to it here. I'm deep in Uranus at the moment.

I just start at one end of the map and slowly make my way to the other.

It is the "slowly" that bothers me.
