I have been keeping my eye on this game as a potential purchase and now that WARGAMER has posted a review,  I'm even more inclined to get it. I have a question for anyone who has the game. Who controls the Black Hand once they are on the board? Is it entirely AI/event driven, or does each player move them during their turn to attack the other?

JP, the Black Hand are actually a little of both…

They are playable in the missions against both Germany and the NATO Alliance with their own forces, in addition to having their own action chart on the side of the board which determines what they do each turn. In game this represents the fact that they control the wastelands and are active in their own goals against both of the other sides. The action chart is always in effect each game so even if the Black Hand is being played in a mission they could also get a nice boost from some decent dice rolls.
