We are in the home stretch for these games. They use the same Armored Knights game system as Operation Gazelle. Both have been significantly enhanced from their award winning (Wargamer Customer and Staff Bronze Game of the Year 2011) predecessor Operation Gazelle. The new variable modifiers include die roll modifiers in addition to the strength modifiers. The games also share a common map. This saves money for those wanting Venezia also. Imagine being able to maneuver the 15th and 21st Panzer Divisions, at battalion and company level, and swing them into the desert against the 4th, 7th, and 22nd Armoured Brigades. Battalions are reduced in parts and you must put the proper combination of unit types together in each engagement to provide your side the best chance of success. The rules are based on the 7 Battlefield Operating Systems of Maneuver, Command and Control, Fire Support, Combat Service Support, Intelligence, Mobility and Survivability, and Air Defense. They are fairly easy to learn in this manner and they are still very detailed and most especially, playable.
