Always been kind of interested to know and see who our multiplayers are and what game(s) you like to play multiplayer with someone over the internet via email or some of the online systems in place? Also if you find it easy or hard to find opponents and in your opinion(s) the best place to find internet opponents for the games you play?

Right now the only MMOs I log onto are World of WarCraft, World of Tanks, and EVE Online just to do my dailies or put a skill to be trained in the queue. Gone are the days when I would play EverQuest or WoW all day and most of the night (or vice versa).

I wouldn't mind playing a good MMORPG, but with all the single player games available I simply don't have the time to spare.

Battlefield 3, Frozen Synapse, and whatever I am reviewing at the moment (Decisive Campaigns Case Blue at the moment, for example).

My multiplayer games recently (and how I find opponents) are:

World of Tanks [just sign up plenty of opponents who will kill you quickly haha]

World in Flames played using Cyberboard (currently in 2 games) [gotta know ppl, world in flames list is helpful too]

Decisive Campaigns Case Blue [forum]

SSG Battlefront Market Garden scenario (amazing fun balanced scenario btw) [SSG forum and old opponents]

HPS First Blitzkrieg Poland scenario [theblitz forum]

I've also recently played

Strategic Command WW1 (the ww2 scenario) [forum]

I mostly play Rise of Flight, Red Orchestra 2, and Mount and Blade.  I tend to go with games that have easy to find servers where I can drop in, play for a bit, and drop back out at leisure.

I don't belong to any virtual squadrons or clans, although I think RO2 in particular would be a lot more fun that way.

I enjoy MP, most of the time, more so than SP. A balance works best for me though.

Games I play MP now or recently and method of finding opponents are:

Battle Academy = very very easy to find opponents thanks to the simple-as-pie lobby/match-making system

Panzer Corps = have played only a few games against fellow Wargamer or Grogheads forumites

Blood Bowl = have joined a QT3 based league, meaning regular matches

Warbarons = easy to join created games which don't require passwords, which can be hit or miss as far as interaction goes, but I've had some very good experiences

I generally find opponents via the various forums I frequent, which are Wargamer, Grogheads, Quarter 2 Three (QT3) and Octopus Overlords. That sometimes leads into a joining a Steam group, and sometimes folks I play against in one game become serial opponents across several games.

If anyone fancies playing some matches in one or more of the above, please send me a PM!

The only game I ever played multiplayer/online was EVE Online....I put a ton of time and work into my charactor and ship(s). It was deep, very very deep....and huge!  I played as a Privateer, alone, never joining a Corporation, just flying into Low Sec space, "Pig" hunting and seeing who would show up to screw with me.  Had many great dogfights and met some really cool people after the fight.  Then CCP did an update and my computer was deemed "Unworthy"..ie  something to do with "SSE compatability"  Needless to say I was pissed as I wasnt ready to update my cpu and lost over 2 yrs of subscription fees.  No warning from them at all as they said it would only effect less than 1% of their customers!  Now that's BS!

Lately I spend about 90% of my MP gaming time with Wargame: European Escalation.

The rest is with Red Orchestra II and Battlefield 3.  I'm trying to get my Rise of Flight MP working, but I keep dropping connection. :-(

Arma II, Iron Front: Liberation 1944, Heroes & Generals and Company of Heroes. I would like to test Hearts of Iron 3 or Crusader Kings 2 co-operatively some day.

The only game that I play multiplayer at the moment is Lord of the Rings Online.

In the past I used to play WinSPMBT and Age of Rifles by e-mail.  I've played Field of Glory against opponents a couple of times - and been soundly beaten a couple of times.

I find it difficult to motivate myself to play any games in SP - MP just offers so much more in terms of immersion and social interaction.

IL2 1946 - play on a closed server with squadmates and occasioanlly on HyperLobby

Rise of Flight - play on "full switch" servers

Darkest Hour - pub servers

I've got M & B Napoleon and have had a few tries at that, and want to also have a go with Iron Front.

The only thing I realy play in SP is CMBN

I must say I'm really surprised to not see a load of PBEM games listed? I used to play CMAK pbem for a time but lost touch with my opponent.

Maybe I worded my title wrong and it was misinterpreted to mean like multiplayer online games when I really meant I guess two player PBEM games or multiplayer games like Paradox offers or Sliterines and Matrixgames new pbem system games? Sorry.
