A great loss to the world as well as myself. I personally own over a half -dozen of Keegan's books. "Face of Battle" is my number one favorite. I've probably re-read that book more than any one that I own. A great author and a good man, he will be very much missed.

Many of us have read his works.  He wrote in an entertaining, yet knowledgable fashion.  His book on World War 1 is one of my favorites.

Oh no!  He can sometimes be a difficult read (Six Armies in Normandy) but he was definitely one of my favorites.  Sad to hear.
