Introducing Vampire Queen in “Vampires!” for PC, iOS and Android
Brno, Czech Republic – August 3, 2012 – Just when you thought everything was lost, the vampire queen rises to lead her vampires back home.
”We would like to announce a new character for our upcoming video game called Vampires! for PC, iOS and Android”, said Jan Kavan, director at CBE software and continued with details about vampire queen. “Vampire queen is a new kind of vampire with the unique ability to destroy traps which are in her sight. To balance this super-power, she is slower than regular vampires and also if she dies, you lose the whole level.”
CBE software has prepared a brand new trailer introducing the vampire queen in action, which you can see here:
Jan also clarified a basic movement mechanics. “We have three kinds of vampires in the game – red, blue and black. Vampire color determines their behavior when approaching a crossroad. Red vampire always turns left, blue vampire always turns right and black vampire chooses where to go randomly. The vampire queen is no exception, so be prepared for a lot of funny situations when originally peaceful vampire group starts to run in various directions at the first crossroad.”
CBE software is an independent video game development studio which has been transformed in 2011 from the two man operation called Cardboard Box Entertainment. Debuting with paranormal comedy Ghost in the Sheet (2007), CBE software explores the possibilities of video games beyond the boundaries of tried and tested gameplay paradigms.
Based in Brno, Czech Republic, CBE software has a mission – “it’s much better to fail while trying something new and original than to succeed by copying already successful games”.
In 2012 CBE software has released a sci-fi narrative video game J.U.L.I.A. and its spin-off prequel J.U.L.I.A. Untold for iOS.
