Topic: Do You Remember 2AM Games and Chain of Command
9 AUG 2012 at 2:27pm davidshq Centurion Offline I remember one of my favorite games for a long time was the multiplayer, squad level simulation of World War II by 2AM Games, then they went out of business...But Element Studios created a successor called Call of Combat - it is awesome. Has anyone played both? If so, what do you think of the new one?

Running With Rifles beta resembles this too, although it's a modern setting and is a bit faster.

From what I've experienced you only directly control your main guy, and just have quick commands to tell your squaddies where to go (if you are controlling the ranking guy).
So it's more of a top-down realtime shooter. Seems like lots of somewhat mindless fun, however.
