I see alot of people complaining about firewalls. If you have a linksys router follow these steps below. Most people have different hardware but looking at the screenshots you should get the general idea how to open up the ports to host CC5. "If you are playing behind a firewall or proxy server, the ports 47624, and the range 2300-2400 must be open for both inbound and outbound TCP and UDP traffic." Quoted from "C:\Program Files\SSI\Close Combat Invasion Normandy\ReadMe.txt" (crossposted thforums)

Another easy way to find out your IP adress: www.whatismyip.com I see you use a quality router. I use Linksys myself

Mooxe...how do you relate these instructions to using the DMZ screen modifications? Are these only for the situation where you are hosting a cc game from the multiplayer options within the game itself (using either TCP or UDP protocal)? Are the port specifications for all CC games? If not, what about CC4 specifications? Thanks

Marcks, yes that is a way to get your IP. But thats the wrong IP you need to get. In this case you need to know your internal LAN IP. njnjr23 - What make and model is your router? Is it hooked up properly? Sometimes if you have the cat5 cables plugged into your router the wrong way it operates as a HUB, let me know... Platoon_Knight - This is for a situation where you are hosting from gamespy/battlehq or something similair. I am not sure if you need to do this by using CC5's own tcp/udp manual connections. I couldnt tell you if this is for all CCs in the series because I dont know what ports they operate through. Look in the readme files and just enter then the same way I did.
