His next move is the Pennies for Patients Program in the spring. It's a school event...the LLS asked him if he would mind being the hero for all of Virginia. He's convinced that his children will not have leukemia because he is raising money for better medicine.....

^Sounds like such a sweet kid. God bless'em.
Just remember kids, when you need something wholesome and innocent like Sesame Street twisted into something sick and perverted - I'm just a phone call away.

Well, I suspect there may be child labor laws which might prevent him from taking any of those positions for a few years.

However, he obviously has leadership skills now that can be put to great use raising funds for a great cause.

I would love to see a world where Tomas' kids don't have to worry about leukemia.  Feel free to use us as a platform of support for anything you need.

I wish I were a 10th as cool as Tomas.

Gunny, if things keep going like they are for him, I have serious faith that his idea that his children would not have to worry about leukemia - might just become reality.

I told my dad, who consults with non-profits and community foundations about Tomas - he was very impressed. He has trouble getting grown adults with experience to think innovatively about fundraising and donations. While Tomas, who is, eight (right?) can raise the most money of the LTNW teams. Looks like they could use a good talking to by Gunny and son. Maybe you guys should go on the road as an inspirational team?
