^ Not yet. I was hoping to be able to take the new lappy on the road with me next week for travel to a conference but I guess I will be hauling my old clunker instead. Good news is it should be waiting for me when I return.

Bossy, Asus also has a 16" 2GHz quad core with Nvidia 240 gpu for about the same price that looks pretty sweet if size/weight is less of an issue for you.

Sorry that didn't work out for you but it gives you something to look forward to when you get back.

That laptop is just an incredible price for what is inside. As you correctly surmised, if I keep my Lenovo, size and weight is not an issue.
