Modern Warfare 2 TV Trailer Tonight - Wednesday, November 04, 2009 6:01 PM ( #1 )
Those of you who haven't already written off Modern Warfare 2 due to its nerfed multiplayer component may want to watch the TV commercial for it that will air tonight.  Press release as follows:

Snap…click…BOOM!

11.10.09 is right around the corner, which means that the wait for Infinity Ward’s highly-anticipated Modern Warfare 2 is almost over.  With more than 10,000 midnight openings planned and a first-to-play launch event planned for 11/9 in NYC (Union Square), the only piece of the puzzle that’s missing is missing no more…

Begin tuning in to Comedy Central or Spike TV tonight at 10:00 pm/EST (during the new episodes of South Park on Comedy Central and The Ultimate Fighter on Spike) for the full-length/official Modern Warfare 2 launch trailer.

Keep your feet wet, your powder dry and your TV on…you won’t want to miss this one.

Are you planning on picking up a copy? If you pre-order through GameStop, you should enter their Surprize Attack Sweepstakes. They've given away thousands of prizes, and there are still some big ones left, including night vision goggles (available right now), a riot shield and a custom Hummer H2. I'm helping GameStop spread the word so let me know if you have any questions. Thanks!

can we please have some of those cude Infinity Ward Teddy Bears,

I would like to take them to a shooting-range and unload a few mags in them ... maybe then i feel a little bit better about being betrayed of month of fun with all the known and unknown international friends around here :(

I attended the GamesCon in Cologne, waited 1.5h in line to see 15 min of in game-footage (an compleat arctic level) and should have already known what would happen all to soon.

btw: the level started ok, but got more and more arcadic, finally the Avatar was pulling stunts that even James Bond, Laura Caft or Triple X would not have came away with in one of their featuring movies

fsderek09, can you please show my the direction to the field manual where a soldiers get instructed how to ride a snowmobile with one hand while at the same time blasting away with a 9mm? at an endless stream of overtaking snowmobiles and choppers 'gangsta-style', of course without changing a mag (magical reloads when holstered) and where the results of the impact of those 124grains projectiles make the latest Bushmaster II chaingun test-engineer turn away in shame...   so much about 'Modern Warfare' from a moderate grognardish point of view.

I really hope a so called  'hardcore modus' doesn't exits and i can withstand the temptation to buy it after reading some halfway medicore reports about the remaining  fun of the multiplayer part of that game in some forums

so you can stick your toy night vision where the s** d** sh*** !
( if i want to have one i attend the Jagd und Hund trade fair in Dortmund http://westfalenhallen.de/messen/jagd_und_hund/en/index.php and browse for the latest civilian stuff that really does it job )
No need to promote it, its already USA No1 preorder item

well, its not only about not to have fun on a Wargamer server, its about the game industry going down a dark track:
this will lead to a future not so far away, were you get some  'black box' (a console) for free, and a very arcadic  CoD MW 3 game for a few $/€ too, but if you want to enter a MW3 map with more then a P08, a Schmeißer, or a beaten up K89 you have to 'insert coin' every time you start the game
(just  think of an virtual armory where you rent a 'virtual gun' just like its possible today to rent a some exotic rifles to testfire at your local shooting range    ...or even better: You will have to buy your 'virtual spend' ammunition too)

Sincerely
