Location : Russia Opponents : Russian & German Date : 6 JUL 1941 Scale : 4 Description : The 3d Panzer Division, part of Army Group Center, has reached the Dnieper River north of Zhlobin and is preparing to attack across the river. The division's tank regiment, held in reserve, is ordered to relieve an infantry division which has encountered strong Russian resistance in it's route (3.2Kms. southwest of the town) to Zhlobin. German air reconnaissance reports no enemy formations in the town of Zhlobin or approaching. The German panzer commander must use utmost speed for this operation and return to it's staging area.
