Currently, Wednesday and Thursday are regular open multiplayer online session nights for MOW2. The Wednesday session meets in the Chatroom at 9:00 pm EST, with the game starting about 9:30. The Thursday session meets in the Chatroom at 10:00 pm EST with the game beginning about 10:15. Often custom scenarios are played, and these have been excellent in quality and for accomodating large numbers of players. Everyone is invited to join the fleet of their choice!

It's very important to keep MOW2 updated on your harddrive, especially if you intend to play online. Please visit the Download page and make sure your game is current. The current version of MOW2 is 1.024.

Happy first anniversary to this Man of War II website! Hard to believe, but true!

Tom Cundiff's scenario roster has again been updated and a new list has been placed at the head of the document. It lists scenarios in order of the number of players required from 3 to 30. Any scenario requiring more than 30 is not coallated on this list, though they ALL continue to be listed further down in the document as before. ......on the Info/FAQ page.

Captain Christian submits 2 scenarios. The first one is the USS Chesapeake vs HMS Shannon. The second one is assuming that Lawrence had waited until his crew was trained. On the Download page.

Tom Cundiff submits a "War in the Indian Ocean-1778 to 1783" scenario collection. On the Download page.

Tom Cundiff completes his MOW2 prebuilt scenario variant collection. He's made minor adjustments to the objective conditions to read 90% of enemy ships out of action. Check the Download page.

A new user-created, online, historically based game merges with MOW2....."Naval War 1800s". This is a game set in the Napoleonic Wars and involves England, France, Spain, and the United States. It focuses on Ship-of-the-Line battles, but frigate commands are also available. Visit Fletcher Christian's and Max Schmid's site at http://navalwar.cjb.net for details.

Strategy First releases Mow2Patch 1024. This latest patch adds more frequent sync-checking during multiplayer games, and corrects errors where valid IP addresses were mistakenly identified as invalid. This patch includes all previous patches.

MOW2 teams up with "Marooners"! Visit Marc Quinn's expanding pirate realm, where sea duels between pirate and pirate hunter are now a virtual reality via the goal-oriented "Marooner's online game. Duels and larger engagements are arranged through "Marooners", then played out in the tactical world of Man of War II.

Greetings. I'll be filling all pages with content at a steady but leisurely pace, and I welcome any suggestions or critiques that you may have. If you find things not looking quite right anywhere, please e-mail me with details. The general plan is to offer a harbor of information and services about Strategy First's "Man of War II" computer game of naval combat in the glorious Age of Fighting Sail.
