Wargames publisher Shrapnel Games announced on Thursday morning the completion of Dragoon: The Prussian War Machine (screenshots feature), the latest 19th century wargame from Boku Strategy Games. The game is set during the pre-modern era of the 19th century, with its centerpiece being twenty scenarios based on the battles of Frederick the Great of Prussia. This latest Dragoon game is the follow-up to Boku's other titles in the genre, including Dragoon (review) and Horse & Musket (review). Like those previous games, Dragoon: The Prussian War Machine is a wargame which places heavy emphasis on historical accuracy with a unique command & control system featuring the effects of leadership, morale, and unit cohesion. Dragoon: The Prussian War Machine is available for pre-ordering at a price of $44.95 through the Gamers Front, and will be released to pre-ordered customers in late October. For those looking to experience the game, a demo is available.
