The big upcoming event is, of course, E3 itself. We will have something like 14 PC stations set up running Age of Empires III demos. ES is sending over a group of people to E3 this year and most will be spending some time each day at our demo stations. It has been a tradition at ES to send a demo contingent to E3 when we launch a new game. We think we do a better job demonstrating our own game than a PR person. We think store owners and worldwide media like actually meeting people who are making the game. Our people enjoy getting feedback direct from customers. It is great for morale and we come back pumped up for the final push. The E3 trip is also a sort of team-building exercise. We can tell our staff is getting more mature, however, because it has been a couple of E3s since we were asked to leave a restaurant. Look for a huge Age of Empires III banner to be hanging off the Los Angeles Convention Center.Get more information on the third installment to the enormously popular Age of Empire series at Age of Empires 3.com.
