Deep Silver and Egosoft today announced that X3: Reunion has gone gold and that it will be shipping to stores on October 28th. X3 is the sequel to none other than X2: The Threat, which was also an "in-depth space simulation that thrusts players into an epic battle for control of the universe." X3: Reunion comes with much more than just an updated interface and state-of-the-art graphics. In X3, players can use a variety of tactics and actions to work their way into supreme domination of the univers: fight, barter, pirate, police, steal and trade to gain the edge over one's opponents. Featuring a real dynamically interactive AI and economic model, NPC pilots will help or hinder players on the way to salvation for the universe.
